About MicroTools
MicroTools is a small collection of free calculators and micro-tools, built by X Centrix AI. The idea is simple: the internet is full of tools that ask for an email address before they will tell you what you already typed in. Ours do the opposite.
Why everything runs in your browser
Every tool here is pure client-side JavaScript. That is an engineering decision with three consequences you can feel: the results are instant, the tools keep working after your connection drops, and nothing you type is ever transmitted anywhere.
It also means there is no database of your input to lose. We could not leak what we never receive.
What we promise about the content
- The number is the number. Calculators show their inputs and their assumptions. If a result depends on a rate or a formula, that formula is written out underneath the tool rather than hidden behind a logo.
- No invented statistics. We do not publish testimonials, ratings or user counts we cannot evidence. You will not find a five-star review block on a tool nobody has rated.
- Every tool has a guide. Each one ships with a plain-English explanation and a real FAQ, because a tool you do not understand is just a number with a licence to be wrong.
How the site is funded
Advertising, and affiliate links on some product recommendations. Ads are clearly labelled, they sit in reserved space and they never cover a tool’s inputs or results. Where a link is an affiliate link we mark it as one and tell you so — see our privacy policy for the detail. Advertising has never changed a recommendation here, and it never will: a tool that only works because someone paid for the answer is not a tool, it is an advert.
Who is behind it
X Centrix AI builds software and marketing systems from East London, South Africa. MicroTools started as an internal utility belt and grew into something worth sharing.
